The Dell Global Services Delivery (GSD) Field Services Technical / Team Lead will be responsible for the successful execution of managed client services for a strategic customer. These services include: IMAC, Break Fix, Desk Side Support, etc.  This role combines strong technical skills with leadership responsibilities. Dell Technical / Team Leads will supervise install technicians at customer locations to ensure quality, efficiency and compliance with deployment procedures and installation guides.  This role will communicate with customer site contacts and must possess good communication skills and exhibit integrity and confidence in themselves and the deployment processes.   This position will be a remote/Onsite Client based position. You must live in the area.  This role will travel up to 80% travel to Dell customer Campus / Remote sites, with the potential for national travel as necessary.    
  • Execute service delivery according to Site Lead guide
  • Coordinate with Customer's on-site facilities and technical contacts regarding readiness and delivery issues
  • Escalate to Field Services Management on issues that impact the entire operation at a given site
  • Distribute deployment workload among Dell Onsite Team.
  • Ensure the technicians are productive and efficient
  • Serve as the escalation point for technician's deployment issues
  • Keep track of technicians' and self timesheets
  • Perform Managed Client Services while not performing supervisory / quality assurance / technical documentation  activities
  • Assist in the development of MVFS Implementation Protocols to guide GSD field executions.
  • Identifying potential risk / resolution approaches for targeted Client tasks / deployments
  • Provide assistance to Dell Service Areas on scoping & implementation planning.
  • Conduct periodic Managed Client Onsite Training to MVFS Field Team
